December 2025 Snow Mountain Training

December 17–18, 2025

To further enhance the safety of our charter bus operations during the winter season, Shooting Star Sightseeing conducted snow driving training in a snow-covered region this December. The training included the following practical exercises:

  1. Practicing the installation and removal of tire chains in advance under snow-free conditions.
  2. Installing and removing tire chains under actual snowy conditions on the day of the training.
  3. Driving in snowy conditions using only studless winter tires.
  4. Driving in snowy conditions using both studless tires and tire chains.

In addition to the exercises above, we intentionally performed sudden braking and sharp turns on the snow to experience firsthand how the vehicle’s behavior changes.

After the training concluded, all participating drivers unanimously agreed on one thing: how extremely difficult it is to install tire chains in actual snowy conditions. A task that was relatively easy on bare asphalt felt completely different in the snow. This experience strongly reaffirmed for all of us the crucial importance of installing chains early, before the snow gets too heavy.

Moving forward, Shooting Star Sightseeing remains committed to conducting various practical training sessions and workshops to continuously improve our on-site safety.

Snow Chain Installation Training in Snowy Conditions

After completing the training, all participating drivers shared the same realization: installing snow chains in actual snow is far more difficult than it seems.
While the task was relatively straightforward on asphalt, the experience changed entirely once snow was involved. This session reaffirmed the critical importance of installing chains proactively before snow accumulates.
At Shooting Star Tourism, we remain committed to conducting various field training sessions and workshops to further enhance safety for all our operations.
